To all my followers and to all passers by who read, and who (hopefully) enjoy my blog.
First and foremost I would like to say thank you. Thank you for spending precious time out of your lives reading my posts. I started this blog to release some stress and emotion, to pursue my passion of writing, and to write down exactly how I feel, to get it off my chest, and to always be able to see it. It’s a healing mechanism for me. I write about what is in my head and what is in my heart, and it’s quite an emotional process. It also serves as a letting go mechanism, which is much needed as I hold a lot of resentment and anger about my past. This blog is a home for me. And to be honest, I didn’t ever think people would read it.
I cannot tell you how humbled I feel that people all over the world have been reading my blog, sending me messages, following me on Twitter (SuitcaseKid09) and sending me emails (firstname.lastname@example.org). It is lovely to hear from all of you.
I would like to let you all now how much your comments make me smile, and how much I love being part of a community that is nothing but supportive, friendly and of a similar mindset. My WordPress family are the strongest people I know.
I truly enjoy reading the blogs I follow, and the blogs I see in the freshly pressed section, and would love to hear your recommendations for more blogs directed at those with mental health issues: depression, anxiety, eating disorders.
I hope that my words are soothing to some, helpful to others and most of all, give you a light relief and escapism from your daily life.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I am proud of each and every one of us for the progress we are making on our journeys.
Sending love and blessings x
